CRS Christmas Baskets CRS Food Bank & Distribution
It’s a simple goal. To ensure that no child goes without a toy at Christmas, and that no family goes without Christmas Dinner. Operating in our community for more than 50 years, the Christmas Baskets Program provides Christmas dinner and toys to eligible individuals, families and children within the communities of Brantford, Brant County and Six Nations.
How to Receive
We are here to help.

How Do I Get Help?
If you are experiencing difficulty and wish to receive Christmas Baskets support, you must register when our program opens in November. To ensure your eligibility, please be sure to bring proof of income for your household and identification for each household member (e.g. health card).

You will be given an appointment date on which to come and pick out toys and items for your children.

Our Christmas Food Hampers can either be picked up at a date close to Christmas Day, or can be delivered. We will discuss this option with you when you register.

What Will I Receive?
The Christmas Food Hampers may include
  • Fresh carrots, apples and potatoes
  • Ham for singles
  • Turkey appropriate for the size of the family
  • Stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, canned fruit and vegetables
  • Juice, pasta, soups and other donated items

If you need toys for your children, you may receive

  • One new toy for each child
  • Other items as donated, such as knitted goods, books, games and gently recycled toys

Where do I go?
Each year, our Christmas Baskets Program utilizes donated space in which to operate.
